We read company and insider filings straight from the SEC's EDGAR system. We read new federal rules from the Federal Register. For trades by members of Congress we use a public copy of the House and Senate disclosures, and we check the House Clerk's own files when that copy is late.
Some news links are found through the GDELT Project (gdeltproject.org).
Most news links come straight from each outlet's own public feed. We write each summary line ourselves.
